Isn’t it rich? Sondheim's classically anxious romantic musical is a masterpiece in 3/4 time (and variations thereof). "Send in the Clowns," of course, but other treasures from this score, performed by, among others, Sarah Vaughan, Audra McDonald, Len Cariou, Angela Lansbury--even Benny Goodman!
