The Great Gatsby

05-26-2013

In celebration of the renewed interest in F. Scott Fitzgerald's THE GREAT GATSBY, "Broadway to Main Street" is extending all the way to East Egg. We're joined by WSJ jazz critic Will Friedwald and cabaret chanteuse Emily Bergl, borne back ceaselessly into the past, with songs of the Jazz Age featured in Fitzgerald's work. Performers include Al Jolson, Russ Columbo, Billy Eckstine, Dick Haymes, Dinah Shore and Ms. Bergl herself. What do you mean you can't repeat the past?
