French Accent

04-27-2014

In this episode, Broadway to Main Street gives 'em the "ooh-la-la": musicals with a French accent, in honor of Irma La Douce – that rarity, a great French musical. Each of the songs has at least some French in it, sung by such varied chanteurs and chanteuses as Maurice Chevalier, Elizabeth Seal, Edith Piaf, Robert Goulet, Ella Fitzgerald and more. Seulement on Broadway to Main Street.
